Kia ora, I'm Kirsten Drummond. I am originally from South Africa and I moved to New Zealand in 2010 with my partner. I moved To Te Kauwhata with my husband Elliot, and my 2 daughters Khloe and Ava in 2018. I’m thankful to be part of this wonderful community, where we come together to build a caring and inspiring space for everyone. I am looking forward to 2024, as I learn alongside my tamariki as we embark on our school journey together.

Kia ora koutou. My name is Imogen. I was born and raised in Te Kauwhata, even attending Te Kauwhata Primary myself. I’m in my second year of teaching, working with Year 1 and 2 tamariki.

Kia ora, my name is Harjeet. I am originally from Northern India and moved to New Zealand in 2012. My husband, Gurinder, and I have a son who also attends TKP. We lived in South Auckland before moving to Te Kauwhata in 2020.
I began my teaching journey at TKP in 2021 and currently teach Year 2 students in Room 4. I am committed to providing a high-quality, inclusive learning environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional development of all tamariki.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my whānau and value building strong connections within our school community. I look forward to working alongside whānau to foster the growth and learning journey of all tamariki.

Ko Keri Whitaker tooku ingoa.
Kia ora koutou. My name is Keri Whitaker, and I am a local through and through. Having grown up on a farm in Waerenga and now living in Te Kauwhata with my husband and two grown up children, this community holds a very special place in my heart. I joined the TKP teaching team in 2025 after many rewarding years in Early Childhood Education. My background in ECE gives me a unique understanding of the foundational years, and I am passionate about supporting our Tamariki as they transition into their school journey. I value the strong community ties that make our school so special and I look forward to the opportunity to work alongside you and your children.

Kia ora, my name is Terry Kung. I am proud to be part of our school community and to support our tamariki in their learning journey. I am passionate about creating a positive, inclusive classroom where students feel confident, supported, and encouraged to do their best. I look forward to working alongside whānau to help our learners grow and succeed.

My name is Stephanie and I am teaching Yr3 in Room 13A this year, I am also Team Leader for our Yr2-3 team.
I have 3 children, Hayley, Blake, and Ryder, and my eldest attends school here at TKP.
I have been working at TKP since 2017 and have lived around the area since 2011, finally moving into town in 2021.
I love working at TKP and I look forward to working with you and your tamariki over the year ahead :)
