Kia ora, I'm Kirsten Drummond. I am originally from South Africa and I moved to New Zealand in 2010 with my partner. I moved To Te Kauwhata with my husband Elliot, and my 2 daughters Khloe and Ava in 2018. I’m thankful to be part of this wonderful community, where we come together to build a caring and inspiring space for everyone. I am looking forward to 2024, as I learn alongside my tamariki as we embark on our school journey together.

Hello, my name is Anne and I am originally from Pukekohe. My family moved to Te Kauwhata several years ago. I really enjoy gardening, spending time with my family and travelling. Professionally I have added to my teaching repertoire being involved in the ALL Programme (Accelerating Learning in Literacy). This taught me that students can achieve more when they are taught explicitly over several parts of the day and have targets to reach. I am excited to apply my new knowledge to the students in Room 2.

Kia ora whānau,
My name is Harjeet, and I am proud to be part of the Te Kauwhata Primary School community. Originally from Northern India, I have called New Zealand home since 2012. My teaching journey began in 2021 in Room 6 here at TKP, and this year, I have the pleasure of teaching Year 1 and 2 students in room 4.
I am passionate about education and love creating a positive and engaging learning environment for our tamariki. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my whānau. I look forward to a fantastic year of learning, growth, and connection with you and your children.
