Hi all, my name is Nicola Brogan Brown. I emigrated from Scotland to New Zealand in 1996 and my whanau has never looked back. I love all things Kiwi; our multi cultural society, the amazing weather, how big and blue the sky is (we don't get that a lot in Scotland!!), and the laid backness of "she'll be right!" I am married to Patrick and we have 3 children. We moved from Pukekohe in 2017 and just love the TK village life.
My previous career found me running the events department at the Hilton in Auckland. But in 2007 I took the plunge and went back to University as an adult to follow in my fathers teaching footsteps and fulfil my dream. I have taught all age groups in mainstream and full Maori emmersion. In 2014 I completed my Reading Recovery training, and did this role alongside being a SENCO. I started at TKP in 2017. 2020 saw me returning to my previous learning support role and I am very excited about the difference I can make being our Learning Support Co-ordinator. I can honestly say I love coming to work everyday, working with children is rewarding, amusing and inspiring!
I am a crazy animal person and an avid gardener. We have just bought a lifestyle block and are excited to have our own farmlet and be able to expand our British Bulldog Kennels!
